Year 6 Neuro-Inclusive Environment, Climate & Sustainability Curriculum: Term 1
Year 6, Term 1 of the Heal Earth Curriculum launches students into the high-level role of "Strategic Designers." This term shifts the pedagogical focus from diagnosing planetary health to actively dreaming and planning the restorative worlds of 2050. Learners discover that the future is not a fixed destination that "happens" to them, but a "Preferable Path" that they have the power to steer through creative innovation, strategic foresight, and personal leadership.
Students explore the "Cone of Plausibility" to map global trends and use "Solarpunk" aesthetics to visualize cities where nature and high technology live in harmony. They master the advanced skill of "Backcasting," reverse-engineering thirty-year goals into immediate, actionable milestones. From pitching "Strange Energy" inventions in a "Shark Tank" style simulation to drafting a formal "Future Builder Manifesto," students develop the ethical framework and technological literacy needed to become the architects of a regenerative tomorrow.
